GEORGE WITH HAT

In the last art walk here in Belleville, I did a demo of portraiture , this time from a photo since George, my model , was out in the cottage that week. In the art walk of tomorrow I will do one more demo, this time with the model in front.
En el último paseo de arte aquí en Belleville, hice una demostración de retratos, esta vez, partiendo de una foto ya que George, mi modelo, estaba de vacaciones esa semana. En el paseo artístico del mañana, haré una demostración más, esta vez con el modelo en frente de mi.

HOPPER ISLAND

I name this painting Hopper Island to honor a friend Mark E. Hopper (photographer), where every morning before 7 am is waiting for the sun to come out to take as many photograph as he can.
He titulado este cuadro "la isla de Hopper" en honor a mi amigo Mark E. Hopper (Fotógrafo), donde cada mañana antes de las 7 am espera la salida del sol para tomar tantas fotos como pueda.

HAMILTON, MY DOG
A portrait of my dog Hamilton, who pas away a couple of weeks a go, I had to do his portrait, he has been one of my best friends in the last few years. A great spirit animal, I am going to miss him.
Un retrato de mi perro Hamilton, que murió hace un par de semanas , le tenia que hacer su retrato, Hamilton ha sido uno de mis mejores amigos en los últimos anos. Un animal con un gran espíritu, le voy a echar de menos.

BILLA FLINT OLD HOUSE, NEW COURTHOUSE, BELLEVILLE. COMMISSION

The abandoned house was owned by Billa Flint, a general merchant in Belleville in 1829, and also established a large lumbering business at the mouth of the Moira River. Billa Flint was President of the Belleville Police Board in 1836, was Reeve of Elzevir Township for 21 years and Mayor of Belleville for 3 years, and Warden of Hastings County in 1873. From 1847 until his death in 1894 he represented the area in the Canadian government, becoming a Senator in 1867. In the background is the new courthouse on Bridge St. West, built 2015.
