It took me by surprise , the Parrot Art Gallery phone me the day before of the exhibition and ask me If i would like to show together with Manly Macdonald. Also with three other local artist,Most of the paintings in the show were from Manly.the invited artist, we put only one. It is great since I came to Canada I have being studying this Canadian impressionist painter, He lived in the same area I live so his paintings were giving me an education on light, snow and the local areas. As soon as I saw my painting together to his, I start to learn a lot, I consider Manly my teacher although he is not with us, his art is here , and oh boy, it has a lot to say.
Me pillo se sorpresa , La Galeria de arte Parrot me llamo el dia antes de la exposicion para preguntarme si queria esponer con el Pintor Manly Macdonald. Habian tres otros pintores , los artistas invitados pusimos un cuadro, los demas eran del pintor Manly. Me puse muy contento, ya que desde que he llergado a Canada he estado estudiando a este pintor impresionista, Manly vivio en la misma area donde yo vivo, y sus cuadros me han ensenado a apreciar la luz, la nieve y areas locales . Tan pronto como vi mi cuadro junto al suyo , empeze a aprender mucho. Considero a Manly mi maestro aunque es no este con nosotros , pero su arte aun esta aqui , y tiene mucho que decir.

I did this first painting in plein air , it was cloudy , I could not get any contrast then I did a bigger painting in my studio with reference from the first one and a photo with the sun out.
