Oil on canvas 12"x16" PRICE: $Sold/Vendido
The name Alhambra comes from an Arabic root which means "red or crimson castle", it has been many years that i didn't do a painting of a Spanish Landscape. The Alhambra has always been a place I love. So I decided to do a painting of it, and also of Sierra Nevada , 'The snowy mountain behind the castle. This mountain was in my surroundings along my childhood .

Hello there Jesus!... Sorry for my long absence... but as you likely have gathered from my posting... time has been hard to squeeze in because of the move!

I love this piece! You have captured the colour and the majesty that one attributes to the Spanish countryside and culture... past and present!

Your passion for and childhood connection to this landscape make it powerful and passionate!

An Estevez gem!

Good Painting and Happy summer!
Warmest regards,

PS We do live closer to you in Belleville now... come visit... and paint!
